OUR MISSION
Our mission is to strengthen faith, support families in need, and uplift our community throughout the greater Philadelphia area. We provide financial and human resources for catholic education, prayer services, retreats, gospel reflections, and other spiritual gatherings that inspire and deepen religious life. By offering grants to students and families with financial hardship and supporting organizations that assist those facing severe illness we strive to make growing a stronger relationship with God something the community finds inviting.
Guided by compassion and service, we assist individuals and families affected by serious illness through home renovations, living-expense support, and ongoing personal engagement. We offer critical aid to individuals struggling with drug addiction by helping fund detoxification, rehabilitation, transitional housing, and related support services. Through these efforts, we remain committed to fostering hope, dignity, and spiritual renewal across the communities we serve.
WHO WE ARE
Team Hope is a faith-driven organization dedicated to strengthening spiritual life and uplifting families. With thousands of team members, our commitment has no limits. We send out daily prayer requests in hopes we are assisting our team in dedicating time with our Lord. We proudly walk alongside individuals and families affected by addiction, leading them to their faith. Across all our work, we strive to bring hope, dignity, and spiritual renewal to the communities we serve. One person, one family, and one act of compassion at a time.

Ed Morris Friendship Celebration
Meet our Founder
Ed Morris

Ed is a lifelong member of the Religious Community in the Philadelphia area. One of nine children raised in Delaware County, Ed attended Archbishop John Carroll High School, later serving on its Board, staying active with the Alumni Association, and earning induction into its Hall of Fame. He received his B.S. from the University of Delaware and his M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania. Ed and his wife of 36 wonderful years are the parents of six children and grandparents to seven. He is also a proud member of Saint Norbert Parish.
For six years, Ed walked the streets of Kensington, helping young people fight addiction. From picking people up off the streets and driving them to rehabilitation facilities, to reconnecting families, Ed gave these people a fighting chance to survive.
In response to the growing need for spiritual companionship and encouragement, in 2017, Team Hope was born. Ed conducts large Friendship Celebrations that have gathered as many as 900 people for a great time full of outstanding success stories and music, with a focus on building one’s relationship with God and one with one another. Ed also sends a daily prayer request to over 1,200 people—a commitment he has kept every day for more than eight years.
Ed loves to share his unique messages of hope and healing. He is a frequent radio personality on In His Sign Catholic radio and he is looking forward to bringing his message to as many people as he can to help them reach their spiritual potential.
